Roberts - Leonard

Leonard, 19 month old son of Mr. and Mrs.
Walter ROBERTS living northeast of Mechanicsburg and south of the Sugar
Creek Church south of Frankfort, was fatally scalded Saturday afternoon.
The child’s mother filled a bucket with hot water to scald a chicken
and in an instant the infant turned the vessel. The hot water completely
covered the upper part of the child’s body and one limb. The child
lingered until 9:30 o’clock Sunday morning when death occurred. The
funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 from the residence
conducted by Rev William Fulton of Lebanon. Interment in Buntin
Cemetery. - kbz
